If you’re looking to earn platinum on a couple of PlayStation games, check out these titles for the easiest way to get each trophy.
Perfectionism has always been a part of the gaming community. So much so that in 2005 Microsoft introduced the concept of Gamerscore – a point total that grew as you played titles and unlocked achievements.
And while Sony was releasing their console around this time, they fell behind a bit and didn’t start building their achievement system until 2008. But when they finally did it in trophy form, it became popular. And now, thirteen years later, we have quite a few games with their own trophy catalogs, varying in difficulty. Receiving each trophy in the game means that it goes platinum. Some PlayStation games make it incredibly difficult to earn all the trophies. And in the titles from this list, on the contrary, the most affordable trophies.
Infamous: Second Son
At first, it seems like getting platinum in Infamous: Second Son is as difficult as it is in any average game, given the side quests to complete, the numerous game sessions to complete, and the collectibles to collect.
But Second Son helps the trophy hunter a lot by letting you see the location of all the collectibles needed on the map, as well as the location of all side quests. The biggest obstacle between you and Second Son platinum is time. And considering that the main campaign lasts an average of about 10 hours, it’s not that difficult as it seems.
Persona 5 Strikers
Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal are long… very long games, each with enough story content to easily pass the 100 hour mark and leave almost nothing to replay by the time the credits hit.
Therefore, for collectors of trophies, Persona 5 Strikers is kind of a gift. And it’s not just that it’s a much shorter game. Each of the 47 trophies can be obtained in one complete playthrough. In addition, in the first moments of the new game, plus you can earn the “Without looking back” trophy. Just start a new game after the first playthrough. Overall, this platinum trophy can be earned in about half the time it takes to complete the main story in Persona 5.
The Rocket League Platinum Trophy is considered the easiest for one reason – the game can be easily manipulated to increase the trophy collection.
Perhaps the trophy for a goal scored in reverse will seem a little intimidating to a beginner. And in an online game against equal opponents, this can be a daunting task. But the Rocket League allows you to work smarter, not harder for the platinum trophy. You can join the offline game without bots to collect as many trophies as your heart desires. If you don’t care about trophies, it can take a while to get them. But if your only goal is to get the coveted platinum trophy, getting to the top won’t be difficult.
The Walking Dead: Season One
TellTale’s adventure will forever remain at the top of the Olympus of perfectionism. The Walking Dead: Season One is only selected for the sake of the list, but you can choose any studio product. Whether it’s The Walking Dead, Tales From The Borderlands, Game of Thrones, or more, just beat the game, complete the entire main story and claim your reward.
