CDPR begins detailing the upcoming 1.3 update.
CDPR has published news of changes in the upcoming 1.3 update for Cyberpunk 2077, but only a few: obviously, the full changelog is “coming soon”. Stunning patch notes: how did it come to this.
The upcoming changes are, at the very least, quite significant improvements. The most important thing for the game will be the map upgrade – something that modders have dealt with in a few weeks, and which players have often complained about since launch.
This navigation update is only “detailed” thanks to Cyberpunk 2077’s already hackneyed trope of reporters in the universe who are always kicked out when, God forbid, they discover something. The video above shows the new mini-map in action, and the only real CDPR comment came from a programmer named Andrzej: “With the new software update for the mini-map system, you will be able to see more and better navigate. Drive fast, drive safely. “
In addition, the update will improve part of the game “The Clouds” – “dollhouse” in a nightclub, where players make decisions that are not essentially explained.
CDPR user interface programmer Natalia writes: “It was one of my first tasks when I came to this project, and I dug into the code for a long time, trying to understand our video UI system, and in the end I realized that the problem was in the video settings. The video time was shorter than the video length. This will give players a better understanding of the decision they are making in this episode. ”
The latest announced (for now) change is that it will now be much easier for players to reset perks: this was possible with Tabula e-Rasa cards, but at an inflated price. Gameplay designer Katarina took over (does any of these people have a last name): “For our players, this feature will mean safer experimentation with designs. It will become available and affordable to everyone, so there is no need to hesitate when investing in certain perks ”.
The 1.3 release date was not named, but 1.2 was introduced on March 19 and released on March 29, so it will probably be pretty soon.
