Animated film Injustice will be released in October | Easy Online Work

With Gillian Jacobs, or Britta from Community, as Harley Quinn.

The announcement of an animated full-length film based on Injustice: Gods Among Us was once hidden away in the blu-ray bonuses of another DC animated film. Now, Ed Boone, creative director of NetherRealms studio responsible for Injuctice and Mortal Kombat, finally broke his silence on the project and released its cover art and release date: October 19th.

The feature film will be based on the first game in the series, and at the same time on very good Injustice comics by Tom Taylor. It was in these comics that I first saw Harley Quinn as an interesting character, in the days when she was usually described as the Joker’s goofy fanservice girlfriend; hopefully the Injustice version of Harley manages to survive the transition to the animation realm.

The cast for the film includes Gillian Jacobs (Britta from Community and the voice of Atomic Eve in Invincible) as Harley Quinn, Anson Mount (Captain Pike from Star Trek: Discovery, Black Bolt from Marvel’s Supermen) as Batman, Justin Hartley (Green Arrow from Smallville) as Superman, and Kevin Pollack (Hockney from Suspicious Persons, hilarious best friend from probably 50 different films) as Joker. Several veterans of voice acting also joined the film – Laura Bailey as Lois Lane, Yuri Lowenthal as Master of Mirrors and Fred Tatasciore as Captain Atom.

That stupid rumor that Injustice 3 would be a crossover with the Guardians turned out to be just a rumor in the end – and thank gods.
