GPUnity’s HD Texture Pack mod enhances over 300 different textures for the game.
The texture pack for Nier: Automata, which promised to make the game less blurry, is finally ready after years of waiting.
A set of textures with the modest name HD Texture Pack from the developer GPUnity is not the most ambitious work and will not radically change the appearance of the main characters. Rather, it aims to fix the basic textures of the game, which, in the opinion of the modder, are not of high quality.
“Nier: Automata is one of my favorite games,” GPUnity shared on Steam. –Unfortunately, blurry textures spoil its appearance. My goal is to restore low-resolution textures without changing the visual style of the original. “
In total, the package “fixes” more than 300 textures, ranging from tiles on the floor and containers, ending with 2B gothic clothing. It also improves the user interface of the game by improving the quality of the font. The mod is compatible with both Steam and Windows Store versions of the game, however, for it to work, you will need to first install Fix Automata Resolution.
GPUnity has been working on the mod since the release of Automata in 2017. Now is the time to get back to the 2009 Batman: Arkham Asylum texture update.
