Last summer, Cornfox officially announced Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost, a sequel to the legendary hit for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. Unfortunately, then the representatives of the game studio shared only a small story about the features of the future novelty. They noted that in the second part of Oceanhorn, the emphasis will be on puzzles and role-playing character leveling system. In addition, the quality of the graphics will increase significantly.
Today, the official images of Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost have been posted online, which shed light on the gameplay of the game. It is already known for sure that the latest Unreal Engine 4 is used as a video game engine, which provides incredibly high quality graphics for mobile devices. Combined with realistic dynamic lighting, the new video game will feature console-level graphics.
In Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost, an item called “Caster” will appear. With its help, it will be possible to destroy enemies from a distance, which will also bring a little variety to the gameplay. The world of the video game will continue to be open to exploration, but it will expand substantially. In addition, the developers promise an abundance of various items of equipment with which the character’s combat skills can be enhanced.
As of today, the game Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost is in the early stages of development, so there is no talk of a release for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. Also today, the developers promised in the next few months to tell the fans new details and post an official trailer to the network. By the way, developers are planning to release this game for “big” platforms like Xbox One and PS4.
