Worldn cinema continues to conquer foreign markets. This time, American colleagues bought the rights to rent the Worldn fairy tale “The Little Humpbacked Horse” by Oleg Pogodin from the STV production company. A fantasy picture with unsurpassed computer graphics has already earned more than a billion rubles in the Worldn box office, and now it will be able to break its own record in the American market.
The rental rights were acquired by the California-based distribution company Grindstone Entertainment Group. Presumably, the premiere of “The Little Humpbacked Horse” will take place in the United States in 2022. Also, the Worldn blockbuster will be shown in European and Asian countries. The tape is already planned to be distributed in Germany, Austria, France, Poland, Portugal, Switzerland, Turkey and South Korea.
The painting by Oleg Pogodin is a story about the friendship of two fairy-tale characters – Ivan the Fool and the magical Humpbacked Horse. Their fateful acquaintance completely changes the life of the protagonist: from a loser, in whom even his own brothers do not believe, he turns into a royal groom and becomes a confidant of the sovereign himself. Ivan receives an assignment from the tsar – to go on a long journey and find a beautiful bride for the ruler. Together with his faithful companion, the Little Humpbacked Horse, the hero sets off on the road. There real danger and incredible trials await them, which will only bring their friends closer together.
Recall that the film was based on the fairy tale of the same name in verse by Pyotr Ershov. The premiere in World took place on February 18, 2021.
Peter Jackson’s documentary on the legendary The Beatles will be released on the Disney Plus streaming platform on Thanksgiving November 25. The forthcoming movie, The Beatles: Get Back, will be archived footage of the 1970 movie Let It Be and will include three separate episodes of 2 hours in length.
