The script is based on the book of the same name by Eric Jager, which describes real events taking place in France at the end of the XIV century. Jean de Carrouge tries to bring the enemy to justice and turns to the king of France for help. Charles VI, after listening to the testimonies of both sides, decided that the conflict can only be resolved by an honest duel. However, he puts forward the only condition for the duel: in the event of the death of De Carrouge, his wife Marguerite will be burned at the stake for libel.

Also Austria, Canada, USA and Estonia are planning to launch a premiere soon. In addition, the creators are in talks with other Eastern European TV channels.
“Dyatlov Pass” tells about the events that took place in the Sverdlovsk region, not far from Mount Kholatchakhl. In two weeks, a group of nine students led by Igor Dyatlov had to reach the peaks of the Northern Urals and walk about three hundred kilometers. But the participants in the campaign died under mysterious circumstances. After a while, Major Oleg Kostin, together with the investigation team, is trying to reveal the reasons and details of the tragedy that happened. The series has two storylines: the odd episodes are devoted to the KGB investigation, and the even ones tell about the tourist trip itself.
Most of the heroes of “Dyatlov Pass” are real people, and their biographies are recreated in the series with documentary accuracy. The main roles were played by Pyotr Fedorov, Andrey Dobrovolsky, Maria Lugovaya, Alexander Metelkin, Ivan Mulin and others. The script was written by Ivan Kulikov, Vasily Vnukov and Alexander Sysoev (Epidemic), the production was headed by the film company 1-2-3 Production.
Oscar-winning Best Actress Charlize Theron, director of the thriller It Andy Muschetti and his sister Barbara will produce a new HBO Max series about girls survivors of mass murder. The project was named The Final Girl Support Group, and the upcoming horror series will be a screen version of the novel of the same name by Grady Hendrix. The title of the novel refers the reader to a real life therapeutic support group in Los Angeles for the six “last girls” who managed to survive after the mass murderers. It was these stories that inspired the slasher franchises that filled horror movies in the 1980s and 90s.
The main characters of the TV show are together undergoing a rehabilitation course of treatment. The events that took place changed their lives forever: someone became addicted to alcohol and drugs, someone became a motivational speaker, and someone simply fell into denial. They are united by one thing – every woman has gone through the hardest events and, it would seem, everything is already behind. However, at one point the horror of the past returns to their lives.
The pilot episode will be directed by Andy Muschetti himself. Production will also be led by AJ Deeks (The Butterfly Effect), Andrew Haas (Three Men in a Canoe), Adam Goldworm (Masters of Horror), and Grady Hendrix.
Taika Waititi’s comedy series about Oklahoma teens, Reservation Dogs, will air on August 9 via Hulu. The director of Joe-Rabbit and the MCU films co-wrote the project with director Sterlin Harjo (The Magicians). In addition, the two filmmakers filmed the pilot episode and also produced the series.
Reservation Dogs will feature four teenagers who live in rural Oklahoma. They dream of moving from their disadvantaged area, commit crimes and save money to escape to sunny California. Starring Angelica Midfander (Let’s Dance?), D’Farao Wun-a-Tai (Murdoch Investigations), Devery Jacobs (American Gods), Paulina Alexis and debutant Lane Factor. It is worth noting that most of the crew and part of the cast are Native Americans, including the director of the project, Sterlin Harjo.
According to Nick Grad, one of the presidents of FX Productions, the company that produces the series, Sterlin drew on his own experience to create the show, as he himself spent his childhood and adolescence on the Oklahoma reservation. Thanks to this experience, the series promises to be a true and incredibly hilarious story of courage, youth and adventure.
It is assumed that the name of the series was not chosen by chance. This appears to be a reference to the 1991 Quentin Tarantino movie. The English translation of Reservoir Dogs is very similar to the name of the Waititi and Harjo project Reservation Dogs. In addition, already in the trailer, you can see footage inspired by the Tarantino tape.
