In December last year, the legendary game Super Mario Run entered the App Store, which, unlike Pokemon Go by the same developer, offered the only in-game purchase that opens access to all levels. For such a decision, Nintendo began to be strongly criticized, because the cost of the game twenty years ago is a record 750 rubles.
According to analysts’ calculations, only 3% of all Super Mario Run players decided to purchase the full version available. The total number of iPhone and iPad owners who downloaded the new game was 90 million people. This means that only 2.7 million of them gave their money, thereby unlocking all the functionality.
Most of the players still believe that giving 750 rubles ($ 10) for such a “craft” is not the most reasonable idea, so most iPhone and iPad users refuse this unnecessary waste, investing money in better gaming projects.
