There’s even a trailer with great AI voice acting.
For the first time since 2016, the popular and large-scale mod for Skyrim – Wyrmstooth, which was removed by its author Jonx0r, became available for download again. The modder shared a new version of the modification, and, apparently, decided to start developing again.
Wyrmstooth adds a new, fully voiced questline to the game, set after the main storyline of Skyrim. The story is dedicated to the struggle of the Dragonborn with the dragon attacking the ships of the Eastern Empire Company.
The player’s task is to gather a team of mercenaries and go to the island of the Serpent Tooth (Wyrmstooth) with many side quests and a huge dungeon. To promote the new version of the mod, Jonx0r posted a trailer in which you can hear the familiar voices from Skyrim. To voice the mod, the developer used artificial intelligence that converts text into speech.
It is worth noting that Wyrmstooth features the voices of real actors, of which there are more than 30 in the game. In addition, there is a new home for the player – an imperial fort that can be renovated and expanded, a companion beast, which you will receive after completing one of 15 quests, and also new spells, dragon shout and puzzle, seemingly related to draugr.
The new version of Wyrmstooth is compatible with Skyrim Special Edition and can be downloaded from NexusMods and Bethesda.net. The Oldrim version can be found on NexusMods and on the Steam Workshop.
